Saturn is situated 43 km south from Constanța, around a quiet gulf and specializes on treatment of locomotor conditions, gynaecological diseases and other associated conditions, as well as recreation.
Saturn is situated near Mangalia, 43 km south from Constanta. It is bounded on the north by Venus resort. The main attraction in Saturn are the sulphurous mesothermal water springs and the mud therapy, both used for the treatment of gynecologic affections and musculo-skeletal affections.
Saturn beach is situated between the beaches of Venus and Mangalia, and the southern part of the beach is indented by 4 artificial gulfs (protected by T-shaped piers), emphasizing the charm of the resort; gulfs which provide an easy access to the sea. The northern side beach, which leads to Venus, is almost 2 km long and 100-150 m broad.
In Saturn, tourists can find two holiday villages ("Dunarea" and "Delta"), a camping site, restaurants, bars, swimming pools, summer gardens, discotheques, minigolf & tennis courts, outdoor cinema, fun park. For the water sports and horse riding fans, possibilities are also offered. Other attractions nearby include the ruins of Callatis (ancient town), and other regions in the Dobrudja plateau.
The marine climate, the sea water and fine sandy beaches are the main curing factors that recommend Saturn for its purpose.
