Polovragi Cave
The cave is located at the foothills of the Carpathian Mts, in the Oltet Gorges; not far from Transalpina (Romania's highest alpine road), near Horezu.
It is a long cave, over 9 km (out of which 0,9 Km electrified), with the main gallery mostly horizontal and some sideways galleries.
Along the gallery there are three distinct sectors: the Pillar Gallery, and two little side galleries (the Suffocated Gallery, and the important one - Bats Gallery).
