Romania’s mountains are spectacular and unspoilt. We will take you to one of the most beautiful and picturesque parts of Ciucas: Bratocea area.
Rise-up early for a good start; drive to Bratocea pass, near Cheia village. The picturesque route takes us for an easy walk, through the quiet forest, and then out, in a beautiful meadow. This meadow is a nice place for a quick photo stop. While moving further, on the lovely trails, we will reach amazing viewpoints, bizarre rocks, the tower of Goliath.
Bratocea is one of those perfect panoramic photo places, one you should not miss.
The landscape offers great perspectives towards Bucegi Mountains, Piatra Mare and the city of Brasov.
Get closer to the Ciucas Peak, the highest point for the day and the highest in the massif: 1954 m. The view makes it all worthed.
On our way down from the peak we can make a few stops where you choose to and make some memorable photos. The mountains are always full of wonderful surprises.
Back to Bratocea Pass to conclude our mountain impressions and then head out for a tasty, well deserved meal.
