Siebenbürgen, "das Land jenseits der Wälder", ist eine der verborgene Schätze Europas und bei weitem die magische, faszinierendstee historische Provinz Rumäniens. Siebenbürgen war schon immer die Reisenden fasziniert: Vampire, gespenstersten Friedhöfe, Nebel verschneite Landschaft und Menschen die von Graf Dracula terrorisiert waren alle vorhanden; aber in Wirklichkeit die Vergangenheit noch in allen wichtigen Einzelheiten, die dieses Land wie einen einzigartigen Platz machen lebendig: bunte mittelalterliche Städte, verstreut alte Burgen, Dörfer mit befestigte Kirchen und Burgen zu bewachen dieses Land durch die Karpaten Wildnis umgeben.
Prinz Charles ist von Siebenbürgen begeistert und hat eine Kampagne gestartet die Wälder und Tierwelt von Siebenbürgen zu retten, und unterstützt weiter das Umwelt & nachhaltige Entwicklung des ländlichen Raums, ein Projekt in der Nähe von Charles Herz begann: "Es ist die Zeitlosigkeit, die so wichtig ist".

Short city tour with the visit of Alba Carolina fortress (Guard Changing Ceremony - every day at 12 o'clock), the Roman Catholic church, the Reunification cathedral.
Alba Iulia's landmark is represented by the Vauban-style fortress with seven bastions, star shaped.
Next stop: Turda. Visit of the Turda Salt Mine, one of the oldest and most important salt mines in Transylvania, dating from the XVIIth century; displaying for the tourists old shafts, health and recreational facilities.
